1. 1. What FarWide is

   FarWide is a research tool. It compiles draw results, points, harvest, herd and season data, and adds FarWide forecasts. It isn't a state agency, isn't affiliated with one, and doesn't sell licenses or tags.

2. 2. Confirm before you apply

   We work to keep every figure accurate, but we can make mistakes, and rules, quotas, deadlines and results change. The official state regulations and application system always govern. Confirm anything that matters there before you apply or hunt.

3. 3. FarWide forecasts are estimates

   Anything labelled "FarWide forecast" is our estimate of a future draw, not a promise. Draws are random and demand changes. A forecast can be wrong.

4. 4. Ask FarWide

   • Ask FarWide answers from FarWide's data using a large language model. Answers can be incomplete or wrong; check its figures on the linked pages before you apply.
   • Free use is limited to a number of questions a day, and the service may pause when it reaches its monthly capacity.
   • Don't use it to get around the daily limit, to collect data in bulk, or for anything unrelated to hunting research.
   • If you share an answer, anyone with the link can read it for 30 days. Don't put personal details in your questions.

5. 5. Your account and email

   A free account is your email address on our list. You can unsubscribe at any time. We never ask for your state agency login, never log in to or submit anything on an agency site for you, and never store payment cards; paid plans, when they open, are paid through our payment processor and come with their own terms at checkout.

6. 6. Acceptable use

   • Don't scrape or copy the site in bulk, overload it, or try to break its security or limits.
   • Don't present FarWide data or forecasts as an agency's official figures.
   • Personal use, and sharing individual pages or answers with credit and a link, is welcome.

7. 7. Our content

   The way FarWide compiles, checks and presents its data, the forecasts, the design and the text are ours.

8. 8. No warranty

   FarWide is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. 9. Limit of liability

   To the extent the law allows, FarWide isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from relying on the site's data, forecasts or answers, such as an unsuccessful application, a missed deadline or a lost preference point. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or $50 if you paid nothing.

10. 10. Changes

    We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll email subscribers first. Using the site after a change means you accept it. See also our Privacy Policy.
